Mr. Ananda Chandra Naha, son of Mr. Birendra Chandra Naha and Mrs. Priya Bala Naha, was born on January 02, 1961 in Cumilla, Bangladesh. He obtained his Master of Commerce (M.Com) in Accounting from University of Chittagong.
Mr. Naha is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, taxation, and financial management. He completed practical training on Financial Management, Audit, Accounting, and Taxation at MRH Dey & Co. Chartered Accountants and also attended the Executive Development Programme (EDP) organized by the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is proficient in modern accounting software and computer applications including Tally-ERP and SAP.
During his distinguished professional career, Mr. Ananda Chandra Naha has held several senior financial leadership positions in reputed corporate organizations. He is currently serving as Executive Director (Accounts & Finance) at Gazi Group. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Sonnet Group and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Pedrollo Group. Earlier in his career, he worked as Senior Accountant at Karnaphuli Limited. Throughout his professional journey, he has demonstrated outstanding expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, costing, taxation, project analysis, audit compliance, ERP implementation, and strategic financial management, while successfully supervising finance and accounts departments in large corporate organizations.
Mr. Naha currently serves as an Independent Director and Chairperson of the Audit Committee of Jamuna Life Insurance Company Limited, where he contributes his vast financial knowledge and professional experience to strengthening corporate governance, transparency and financial oversight of the company.
