Ms. Mehnaz Tabassum, Director of JAMUNA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY LTD. and Executive Director of Kuliarchar Packaging Industries Ltd., a sister concern of Kuliarchar Group,was born in July 31 1989 in an aristocratic Muslim family in Bangladesh. She is the only daughter of eminent industrialist Mr. Mohammad Musa Meah, Chairman of KULIARCHAR GROUP and former Chairman of CONTINENTAL INSURANCE LIMITED and GOLDEN LIFE INSURANCE LTD. Mr. Musa Meah, an entrepreneur and a philanthropist, has developed several successful business projects in various industries in Bangladesh since 1986. As a daughter of a successful businessman, Ms. Mehnaz Tabassum is a successor to her father.

 

Ms. Mehnaz Tabassum successfully completed her Bachelor degree in Economics from Northeastern University of Boston, Massachusetts. She is also a self-motivated and creative young woman, open to new experiences and responsibilities. She has working experiences with several internationally recognized organizations such as TJX Companies, Inc (Framingham, MA, USA), Inc. Magazine (New York, NY, USA), and StrikeAd (Singapore). Later in 2014, considering her professional business knowledge, skills and efficiency, the Board Members of Jamuna Life Insurance Company Ltd. elected her as their company Vice Chairman. She also became the first youngest women Vice Chairman in Insurance Industry of Bangladesh.

 

The goal of Ms Mehnaz Tabassum, Hon’ble Vice Chairman of Jamuna Life Insurance Company Ltd. is to provide maximum financial securities to its clients and their families by giving them modern insurance facilities. Her aim is to participate in financial activities of the country such as reduction of unemployment, alleviation of poverty and to contribute to the nation for the betterment of its population. She dreams to turn the company into a profitable savings institution with enriched servicing and to invest in building various welfare and profitable projects.
